Travel to Swansea from Stansted Airport
Trains for Swansea leave Paddington Station once every hour. A return ticket from London Paddington to Swansea using the First Great Western service can be as inexpensive as 30 pounds, if booked online and in advance. Be careful, if you purchase this ticket upon your arrival in London, it can be very expensive (often in excess of 100 pounds). The trip takes just under 3 hours.
In order to use the above option, a connection between London Stansted and Paddington Station is needed. The simplest way is to use the Stansted Express connecting to Paddington Station via the London Underground. This connection costs about 40 pounds return and takes about 1.5 hours. Another possible connection is to take the National Express coach service from Stansted to Victoria Coach Station. From Victoria Coach Station, you will need to take the London Underground Circle Line to London Paddington.

Bus is probably the easiest way to reach Swansea from Stansted Airport. National Express offers a service directly from London Stansted to Swansea about once every two hours. A ticket, if booked in advance on their website, can be as low as 48 pounds return and the journey takes about 6 to 7 hours. Tickets when purchased upon arrival in London will be expensive. Be sure to check timetables, especially if you are travelling on a Sunday.
